Determination to uncover the secrets soon leads the young cubs into a terrifying Goblin Graveyard. Once there, trouble soon follows when Zak is kidnapped by an evil Troll Warrior and taken to be the prisoner of the deadly Dark Witch Annie Revoltful. Now, its up to his mother Betty, brother Rocky, Lucy and her brave father Ralf to begin a legendary journey through the enchanted Realm to save him.
Excerpt from the Book: The many creatures of the realm all have a unique gift. Each of them has special abilities and many have powers unlike any other. For the peaceful gremlins that live in the deep forest of the realm, they were given an important task. Centuries ago two warriors fighting in the dimensional wars stumbled upon the gremlin valley when they were on the run from Troll Beasts. The gentle gremlins took in the warriors and fed and healed their wounds. Upon leaving the gremlins, the warriors asked them to protect something very important until they returned - The Crest of Power - an object that contains some of the spells and encryptions that would allow the secrets contained within the Book of Realm Prophecies to be revealed. Years passed and the warriors did not return for the Crest of Power, but the gremlins continued to uphold their promise and throughout the years from generation to generation they kept the Crest safe and protected it well. But that all changed. The fearsome and deadly Dark Witch Annie Revoltful heard that the gremlins were protecting the Crest and she led an army of Troll warriors on their beast hogs into the gremlin valley. Determined to find the Crest and unlock its powerful secrets, Revoltful released the wrath of her black magic on many gremlins. But unknown to her, a female gremlin that had just given birth attached the Crest to her infant daughter and put her on a raft and sent her down the water stream, hoping that someone would rescue and protect her. Revoltful never did find the Crest and in her anger killed many gremlins, cut off their heads and placed them on sticks around the realm as a warning to all those who knew of her, not to get in her way. After days of floating down the stream, the baby gremlin female was found by a family of forest rats. The leader of the rat pack and his wife took the baby gremlin into their family and raised her like she was their own. Unaware of the power it contained, the leader of the pack kept the Crest of Power on a chain around his neck and promised to return it to the child when she was old enough. The gremlin cub was given the name Betty DooDle and she grew up very happy with her new family. Events in the realm however would soon turn very bleak. In her continued quest to find the Crest, Revoltful's black magic began to spread like a deadly disease infecting many different peaceful creatures. Terrified by the threat of Revoltful and her evil trolls, the Forest Rats decided it would be best if they lived underground and separated themselves from the other creatures of the realm. It was from then on, Betty learned from the Wise Elders, played with her friends, watched as her adoptive parents past away and when the time came gave birth to her own cubs. Twins called Rocky and Zak. Now three years old, Zak and Rocky are about to begin their first day of realm lessons at the Great Learning Tree.
